ATTENDANCE LETTERS
As you know we fully promote full attendance at school as it is crucial to the children's education. I would like to make you aware of our Attendance Policy. We aim to keep attendance as high as possible. Please see link to policy below:

School closure information in the event of severe weather.
We aim as far as possible to keep school open at all times during the winter. However in rare times of severe weather, we may need to close the school. In the event that this happens, school closure will be published on Dorset for you and our own school website, FB pages very early on the morning of the closure. We will aim to make a decision by 7.30am, but keep refreshing he pages to get the latest information. Please note that radio stations will still carry information about closures but that they can also access the information on http://mapping.dorsetforyou.com/closedservices.

HOT SCHOOL MEALS
As parents you can access the deadline dates in several ways to ensure that you do not miss the deadline and that your child has the meal offered to them by the school. The deadline date is usually in the last week of every month but is open for ordering for weeks before this.

We regret that we cannot order meals that miss the deadline as Thornford will not provide meals after the date.
