NewStAnd 22nd July 2017Dear Parents, Carers and Community
This is the last newsletter of the current academic year and I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your support this year. Yesterday the Year Six children said goodbye to their school and especially their teachers. This followed an upbeat yet emotional assembly and we all felt so proud of this cohort of young people. They have their whole lives ahead of them. The mantra 'If you can believe, then you will achieve' is an important one as these young people move on to the next phase of their careers. We wish the happiness and luck in the world.
Moving on too were some of our teachers and we were delighted to share a fun assembly with them, led by myself and the children. I am sure you will support me in wishing them all the very best in their future careers. I am delighted to say that I will continue links with these lovely people, who will always be part of our school family.
I would like to thank all the people who have shown their support to myself and the school this year. The PTFA have worked so very hard to provide the children with extra resources. The community too have helped us in many ways, from delivering school meals, to helping with readers, to leading clubs…the list goes on.
I would like to wish you a happy and safe summer holiday. I look forward to seeing you all again on September 6th 2017.
NB: Monday 4th and Tuesday 5th are INSET days and school will be closed on both days. School is open for business on Wednesday 6th September 2017
