Hot School Lunches at St Andrew's
Hot School Meals order deadlines
PLEASE NOTE May's cut off for June's Hot School Meals is FRIDAY 20th MAY
At lunchtime, all children will be supervised by the midday supervisory assistants.
We have an onsite kitchen and mid- day meals of excellent quality are prepared by Thornford School Meals Club. Hot schools meals need to be ordered a month in advance through Parent Pay. Menu sheets are available online . Hot school dinners are currently £2.50 a day. All infants are entitled to free school meals. If you are in receipt of pupil premium you will be entitled to free school meals (see below). **
Packed lunches should be sent in a small separate bag/lunch box. The contents of your child's sandwich box are left for parent's to decide although we ask you to respect our healthy eating agenda. We kindly request that children do not have sweets or fizzy drinks. All uneaten food will be returned home at the end of the day so that you have a clear picture of what your child is eating.
Please do not send in nuts as we have children with allergies therefore we are a nut free zone!

Break time Snack
All infants are offered free fruit or vegetables. KS2 children should bring in a healthy snack.
Children over the age of five years are able to apply for a carton of milk to drink during the mid-morning break. Applications for milk need to be made on line to Cool Milk and details on how to apply are available from the school office.

Water
We encourage every child to bring in a drinks bottle containing fresh water every day. They also have access to drinking fountains and are able to drink water throughout the day. Dehydration has been proven to negatively affect children's ability to learn.Pupil premium
